Azure clear water, pebble and sandy-pebble beaches, pine aroma and green mountains - this is how we remember Kemer. According to our observations, there are many families with children and elderly people, but there are also enough young people. The resort is generally quiet, only in the evenings in large hotels there is loud animation, and music is thundering from cafes and bars on the beach. There are discos and nightclubs. If you want a quiet and secluded holiday, choose quiet small apart-hotels away from the center and closer to the forest. Very quiet in the neighboring villages of Kemer such as Cirali, Olympos, Tekirova.
Things to do. There are many interesting things in the vicinity of Kemer! We rented a bike to see as much as possible. We wandered around the ruins of the ancient cities of Phaselis and Olympos, swam on the Cirali beach, where the Caretta Caretta turtle lays eggs, looked at the burning lights of the famous Chimera, climbed the mountain with panoramic views of Calis and sailed on a ferry to Antalya. Prices. There are many all inclusive hotels in Kemer, but there are also budget hotels. A small resort town with sandy beaches, very compact and easy to explore. Located between Antalya and Alanya. Families with children and young people often rest here. Some of Side's beaches are suitable for kids, others for adults: there is sand everywhere, they differ only in depth and ease of entry into the water.The West Coast is a bustling place where young athletic people who go in for water sports love to gather.
Things to do. Stroll around the ancient Side, where the amphitheater, the Temple of Apollo, the Agora and other antiquities have been preserved. Drive to Manavgat Waterfall and Green Canyon.

When is the best time to go
The high season in Turkey lasts from May to October, but a beach holiday is ideal in June and September: during the day + 30 ° С, at night + 20 ° С, water + 26 ° С. We do not recommend coming on vacation in August, especially with children: in the afternoon the heat is at + 40 ° C, and you will spend half a day in your room under the air conditioner. If you still decide to go in the summer, choose Bodrum. Fresh breezes blow there, so the 35-degree heat is surprisingly easy to bear.
We were at the end of June - beginning of July in Kemer and Antalya: during the day it was so hot that even the shadow does not help. But the water is refreshing!
